We’re a Baton Rouge-based, Registered Investment Advisor firm that specializes in concentrated investments. We compile in-depth, comprehensive research on every company in our recommended portfolio, ensuring greater reliability and accuracy in our investments.

The New York Stock Exchange began in 1792 under the shade of a Buttonwood tree. A small group of investors loaned money to the local business owners and farmers that they wanted to see succeed. Investing meant more than earning a profit; it was about supporting the businesses one believed in.

Our strategy is no different. We fill our portfolio with companies that we support, investing in their success and yours at the same time. Budd “Andy” Anderson / President

With over 40 years of experience in the securities industry, Andy established his own portfolio management firm in 1995. Throughout his career, he has earned a distinguished reputation for his expertise in identifying high-quality growth stocks, a core principle of the firm’s investment strategy. Recognized for his investment insight and deep understanding of the securities markets, Andy has been featured in numerous business publications and media outlets discussing various financial topics. A lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, he holds a B.S. in Finance from Louisiana State University.

Amy Anderson / Investment Advisor “The Fiscal Fox”

Amy wears two hats at the firm, serving as both an investment advisor and the marketing director. She is responsible for managing client portfolios, cultivating and maintaining strong business relationships, and promoting the firm’s specialized investment strategies. A graduate of Louisiana State University with a B.A. in Political Science, Amy is also passionate about financial education. Through her social media platform, @the.fiscal.fox, she creates content aimed at making personal finance, financial literacy, and stock market investing more accessible & empowering.

Matthew Spencer / Chief Compliance Officer

As the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer, Matthew is an integral member of the BF/Anderson team. He constantly works to improve the firm’s quantitative investment process and assists in the development and enhancement of the firm's products. Matthew also conducts all trading functions for the firm, including portfolio allocation, order execution, and daily account reconciliation. Mr. Spencer received a B.S. in Finance and an M.B.A. from Louisiana State University.
